Cyprus - DAY 4

One of the traditional delicacies in Cyprus is loukoumi. We visited Aphrodite Delights, the leading traditional Cypriot Confectionery Manufacturer since 1895, well known mainly for its Loukoumi Geroskipou but also for other authentic traditional delights.

We had ICT workshops held by Antonis Antoniou, a teacher at Dimotiko Scholeio Anaritas. We learned about ICT tools we will implement in our project and use as communication tools, Movie Maker, Wix, Skype, Google Apps (Google Drive, Blogger, Photos, Youtube).

Also, we explored virtual museums, ClassDojo and Solar System Scope.

Let the new adventure begin

Erasmus+ KA2 project OUR HERITAGE IS OUR TREASURE is school partnership in which six countries, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal work together on exploring European cultural heritage and traditions. Partners will compare traditions, find differences and similarities, find diversity in European unity.

While exploring different cultures, pupils will learn new songs, basics of new language, collect traditional recipes, learn about traditional, clothes, monuments, photography, dances, famous people, create photographs and postcards, celebrate special days, make traditional objects, explore World Heritage Sites, illustrate traditional songs.

Teachers will learn about different educational systems and compare them, improve their teaching skills, learn new languages.

By using different web tools and ICT we will connect old with new.
