Evaluation, certificates, the cake, traditional cultural programme... the last day of the meeting was full of joy, laughter, positive spirit, friendship and chocolate! 🎉🍰😋

Happy birthday, Idaira!

Pupils did an excellent job illustrating traditional Croatian song from Međimurje region, ''Protuletje se otpira''. Needless to say, singing was awesome too!

There was Traditional cultural programme in Centre for Social, Cultural and Public Needs of Strahoninec Municipality where Cultural and Artistic Society Strahoninec (KUD Strahoninec) performed several traditional dances from Međimurje. Our host was Strahoninec Municipality Prefect, Mr Franjo Lehkec.

To conclude the programme and the whole meeting, pupils from Spain, Italy, Portugal and Croatia with the help of KUD Strahoninec sang ''Protuletje se otpira'' song. It was amazing!🎶👍👏👌🎵

Croatia - DAY 4

''Our Heritage is Our Treasure'' team has met Governor of Međimurje County, Mr Matija Posavec who found time in his busy schedule to meet project partners and talk with them. The reception was very pleasant!

 

Teacher Janko Kalšan was our guide during sightseeing Čakovec.

Međimurje Museum is housed in the Renaissance - Baroque palace dating from the period of Zrinski and Althan noble families. The palace forms the so-called Old Town complex together with the outer fortress and fortification.

After guided tour through the museum we had Licitar Hearts workshop there. 💖💟💝💓

 Afternoon was all about WEB 2.0 tools for teachers and singing and illustrating ''Protuletje se otpira'' song for pupils. Teachers Tea, Ana and Snežana are awesome! 👑👌👍💪😊
