We have a mascot of the project! Its name is TESORINO and it is a real treasure to us because it is helping us with all the project activities. It loves travelling and sightseeing and meeting new people. It even has its own passport with travel diary! What a sweetie!

Each partner has one Tesorino who is helping with dissemination of meeting results.

Cyprus - DAY 1

''Our Heritage is Our Treasure'' team was at Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace, also called Venus rock.
It is an interesting formation of big rocks along the beautiful coastline located on the southwest coast of the Pafos district.
According to the legend, the Ancient Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty - Aphrodite - was born of the sea foam here.
The site is linked to the Aphrodite Cultural Route.

The World Heritage Site of Palaipafos (Kouklia) is the most important site of the Cultural Route of Aphrodite.

Sanctuary of Aphrodite, the museum, exhibits many interesting artefacts, mosaics and household items fragments, figurines and the Aphrodite's bath and explains how the Cult of the Goddess of Fertility developed into the Cult of Aphrodite.
There is also absolutely awesome, interactive Museum Education programme developed by primary school teachers and free for primary school pupils which main goal is to make museums interesting for children. It certainly is interesting! Well done!

Archaiological park at Kato Pafos area is an interesting place with mosaics from ancient times.
